Song Story
It's amazing how much you can do with what you already have. I wrote this song after a conversation with a friend. She was telling me that dream opportunities poured into her lap after someone told her that she actually had everything she needed to succeed. Instead of being limited by what she thought she lacked and feeling overwhelmed, she worked with what she already had and that's when the breakthrough came. This song speaks on the heart testing moments before you see the fruit of your labor.
Why do I write?
To communicate hopefully without needing words the love of a Heavenly Father. To bless the ones that I love with a sound that edifies and encourages them.
Creating music is a breath of fresh air, a healing journey. I feel Holy Spirit with me when I strum my guitar or strike the keys of a piano. It’s like growing wings and taking that first flight and sailing on the breeze. Conveniently, I’ve never flown before, however I have jumped off a cliff. I imagine it’s a similar experience. It’s always better to jump than stand on the edge of fear.
